Cookie Policy

This page explains which cookies and similar storage technologies MeetingSlotFinder uses, why, how long they last, and how you can accept, refuse, or change your choice at any time. Last updated: September 7, 2026.

1. Who we are

The data controller for this website is Cristiano Fabris, acting as an independent developer. Contact: contact@meetingslotfinder.com. For general information on how personal data is processed, see our Privacy Policy.

2. What we mean by cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This site also uses equivalent technologies: your browser's localStorage (for preferences) and the Cache API (used by the offline service worker). In this policy we describe all of them.

Some storage is strictly necessary for the site to work and does not require your consent. Analytics storage requires your prior, opt-in consent: nothing is loaded or measured until you click “Accept”. Refusing has no consequence on your use of the site (no cookie wall).

3. Strictly necessary storage (no consent required)

These remember your choices and keep the site working. They are never used for advertising or profiling.

The service worker cache stores static files (styles, scripts, pages) on your device so the site loads faster and works offline. It contains no personal data.

This site is served through Cloudflare, our hosting and network security provider. Cloudflare may set its own strictly necessary technical cookies to protect the site against abuse, bots, and attacks. These cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive, as they are essential for security. For details on which cookies Cloudflare sets and how long they last, see Cloudflare's Cookie Policy.

4. Analytics storage (only with your consent)

If and only if you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, on behalf of Google LLC, USA) with Measurement ID G-R6074P3TGW, using Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage denied by default.

Data is processed in aggregate form to understand which pages are visited. GA4 masks your IP address before it is logged or stored; a truncated technical connection to Google's servers is still required to deliver the request, but the full IP is not retained. Analytics data retention in our GA4 property is set to 14 months. Google may process data on servers in the United States; transfers take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Third-party content: fonts

Pages load the “DM Sans” font from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore sends a technical request (including your IP address) to Google to fetch the font files. No analytics or advertising cookies are set by this. If you block third-party requests, the site falls back to a system font and keeps working.

6. What we do NOT do

  • No advertising cookies and no profiling for marketing purposes.
  • No sale or sharing of cookie data with data brokers.
  • No analytics, fingerprinting, or tracking before you consent.
  • No cookie wall: refusing analytics never blocks access to the site.

7. Legal basis

  • Strictly necessary storage: our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website you explicitly requested (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)/(f)); no consent required.
  • Analytics storage: only on your freely given, specific, informed consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); ePrivacy Directive art. 5(3)).

8. Giving, refusing, and withdrawing consent

On your first visit a banner appears at the bottom of the screen with three equal choices: Accept, Reject, and Customize (where you can enable analytics alone and save). Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it:

  • Click the Cookies button in the site footer, or
  • Click Manage cookie preferences below, or
  • Delete this site's cookies and localStorage from your browser settings.

Withdrawal takes effect immediately: new analytics events are blocked, the Analytics script is removed, and the _ga / _ga_* cookies available to the site are deleted.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR articles 15–22 you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (see section 8). You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it). Contact the controller at the address in section 1.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this page when our storage or providers change (current version: September 7, 2026). Material changes will be signalled by showing the consent banner again.
